Automatic Transmission

  1. Using MUT II scan tool, perform SENSOR READ TEST No. 65 (vehicle speed sensor). Test drive vehicle. If vehicle speed is not displayed on scan tool, go to next step. If vehicle speed is displayed on scan tool, replace PCM.
  2. Check PCM connector, Transmission Control Module (TCM) connector and wiring harness between PCM and TCM. If wiring and connectors are okay, repair transaxle control system as necessary.
