Code 105: Downstream Ho2S Heater Fault

NOTE: For component terminal identification, see TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION  in this article. For appropriate WIRING DIAGRAMS, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  section.
  1. Connect DVOM between front oxygen sensor connector terminal No. 4 (Black/Red wire) and ground. Using MUT II scan tool, perform ACTUATOR TEST. No. 10 (MFI relay). MFI relay is cycled on and off every 1.4 seconds. 2 If battery voltage exists when MFI relay is on, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist when MFI relay is on, check wiring harness and junction connectors between MFI relay and front oxygen sensor connector.
  2. Check for continuity between oxygen sensor connector terminal No. 3 (Black wire) and ground. If continuity exists, check oxygen sensor connector. If oxygen sensor connector is okay, replace oxygen sensor. If continuity does not exist, check wiring harness between front oxygen sensor and ground.
