TCL Vacuum Actuator
- Remove vacuum hose from actuator and connect vacuum pump with vacuum tee. See Fig 1
. Perform test under SYSTEM OPERATION INSPECTION
. As throttle pedal is depressed, vacuum should increase to 5.9 in. Hg. Once system has operated for 20 seconds, vacuum should decrease to zero in. Hg.
- If system vacuum is within specifications, but engine speed does not decrease, manually apply vacuum to actuator and check operation. Replace components as needed.
