TCL Vacuum Actuator
- Remove vacuum hose from actuator and connect vacuum pump with vacuum tee. See Fig 1
. Perform test under SYSTEM OPERATION INSPECTION. As throttle pedal is depressed, vacuum should increase to 5.9 in. Hg. Once system has operated for 20 seconds, vacuum should decrease to zero in. Hg.
- If system vacuum is within specifications, but engine speed does not decrease, manually apply vacuum to actuator and check operation. Replace components as needed.
