G-Force Sensor

  1. Disconnect G-force sensor connector. Sensor is located under center of dash, behind console.
  2. Connect positive lead of a 7.0-7.5 voltage supply to terminal No. 1 of sensor. Connect negative lead of voltage supply to terminal No. 3 of sensor. See Fig 1 .
  3. Connect voltmeter to terminal No. 2 of sensor, and measure voltage with sensor in both vertical and horizontal positions. With sensor in vertical position, voltage should be 4.6-5.0 volts.
  4. With sensor in horizontal position, voltage reading should be 1.1-1.5 volts. If voltage reading is not as indicated, replace G-force sensor.
