Continuity Test
- Brake fluid pressure switch is located on side of hydraulic unit. See Fig 1. Disconnect brake fluid pressure switch electrical connector.
- Using a DVOM, check switch continuity with brake pedal released. Continuity should not be present. Depress brake pedal slightly. Check switch continuity. Continuity should not be present.
- Depress brake pedal fully. Check switch continuity. Continuity should be present. If continuity readings are not as specified, replace brake fluid pressure switch.
