Intake Air Temperature Sensor

This sensor is mounted inside air cleaner. It measures temperature of incoming air and supplies air density information to ECU. The ECU uses air temperature sensor information for controlling fuel delivery. The intake air temperature sensor obtains optimum air/fuel mixture according to intake air temperature when engine is operating under high load.
