KICKDOWN Switch

  1. Loosen kickdown switch lock nut. Position the kickdown switch so when pedal stroke is between 1.4-1.5" (36-38 mm) switch No. 1 is "ON" and when stroke is between 1.8-1.9" (45-49 mm) switch No. 2 is "ON". Ensure overall pedal stroke is 2.2" (57 mm) or more.
  2. After kickdown switch adjustment, move spring holder so that as soon as switch No. 1 is "ON", accelerator arm pin contacts spring.
