Wheel Alignment Specifications & Procedures: Adjustment: Caster: Montero

  1. Remove free-wheeling hub. Remove upper control arm from crossmember. See removal procedure in appropriate article in the SUSPENSION section. Working from top side of control arm, turn arm shaft.
  2. To reduce caster, rotate top side of shaft away from ball joint and in opposite direction to increase caster. Install control arm and check caster.
