Check compression of all cylinders

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING IGNITION COILS .
- Refer to REMOVING ALL SPARK PLUGS .
- Loosen nut (1).
- Feed out the wiring harness section (2) for the injectors and the ignition coils and set aside.
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
Sheared wires can cause a short circuit.
Damage to wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
Sheared wires can cause a short circuit.
- Do not pull on wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
- Unlock lock (1) arrow direction from the top.
- Press lock (1) together and release.
- Disconnect the connector (2) from the injectors in the direction of the arrow.
- Unlock and disconnect all plug connections (1) of the injectors.
- Unscrew sensor (1) from special tool 0 490 615 (11 0 222) .
- Check the underlying valve for a secure fit.
- Prepare the special tool 0 490 615 (11 0 222) in conjunction with the special tools 0 496 306 (11 8 732) and 0 496 107 (11 8 730) .
- Screw the special tool 0 490 615 (11 0 222)
to 10 Nm onto the special tool 0 496 107 (11 8 730)
.
- Connect special tool 2 410 242 to special tool 0 490 613 (11 0 220) with the bayonet closure.
- Screw in the 100 bar sensor (1) hand-tight onto the special tool 2 410 242 .
- Connect the 100 bar sensor (1) with the IMIB.
- Screw special tool 0 490 615 (11 0 222) by hand into the spark plug thread (1).
- Connect special tool 0 490 617 (11 0 224) .
- Observe diagnosis instructions.
