Structure and inner electrical connection
The charging procedure is interrupted by pressing the button for mechanical unlocking of the charging plug. This operates a microswitch in the charging plug. Its status is read by the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). In the event of an electrical fault, e.g. failure of the locking motor, the charging plug can be unlocked manually. The actuation knob for the emergency release is located above the right charging socket. The charging plug is unlocked by pulling on this knob.
The direct current motor of the central locking drive charging socket cover is connected to the charging interface module (LIM) or convenience charging electronics (KLE) via a 3-pin plug connection.
The lock is implemented by a torsion spring turning back.
