DTC button = DSC OFF

The DTC button displays the "OFF" labelling as well as a symbol for a skidding vehicle. The same symbol appears in the instrument cluster's indicator lamp (consult Owner's Handbook).

The DTC button can be used to select 3 switching states:

DTC button not pressed after terminal change: DSC in operation (default)
Press DTC button briefly: DTC operating (TRACTION display appears in the tachometer)
Press DTC button for longer period: DSC and ASC deactivated, ABS and ABD-X remain active on AWD vehicles (DSC OFF display in the tachometer)

NOTE: If the drive dynamic control switch or the DTC button is pressed for longer than 10 seconds, a fault is entered in the Body Domain Controller (BDC). DSC assumes operation.
