Functional description
The brake pedal travel sensor is connected to the brake pedal via an operating lever.
If the brake pedal is operated, the brake pedal travel sensor is also moved.
The brake pedal travel sensor is an inductive sensor. The brake pedal travel sensor converts distances proportionally to 2 analogue voltage signals using an angle of rotation (redundancy).
Both voltage signals of the brake pedal travel sensor are transferred to the DSC control unit (DSC is short for "Dynamic Stability Control").
