Structure and inner electrical connection

The connections on the base plate vary according to the vehicle's equipment.

Depending on the series the base plate is supplied by the power distribution box at the front or the power distribution box at the rear with terminal 30B.

• Base plate with link to the Telematic Control Unit or interface box or interface box High:
  • An aerial connection serves as the direct link between the base plate and its exterior aerial.
  • The telephone control unit transmits a signal through the signal line to activate the base plate. The snap-in adapter recharges the mobile phone with the aid of its integrated electronic charging circuit.

• Base plate with connection to Combox and optional equipment SA6NF "Extended connectivity for mobile phone music player":
  • An aerial connection serves as the direct link between the base plate and its exterior aerial.
  • The required connection to the USB hub and AUX-IN port is already integrated in the wiring harness. The control electronics is installed in the base plate. The snap-in adapter's integrated electronic charging circuit automatically recharges the mobile phone whenever it is inserted in the snap-in adapter's cradle.

  • The required connection to the head unit, the USB hub and the AUX-IN port is already integrated in the wiring harness. The control electronics is installed in the base plate.
