Functional description

The points at which the base plate fan is switched on and switched off depend on the ambient temperature and are controlled by a temperature sensor at the cable connection.

In order to guarantee an efficient and trouble-free operation of the blower, the fan starts when an ambient temperature of 25 °C is reached in the center console. The fan will then increase its engine speed in linear fashion until the maximum engine speed is reached at 38 °C.
