The energy management in the vehicle can activate the seat heating with reduced function or briefly switch it off depending on the energy balance. However, the functional display remains active. The heater's output is reduced as follows:

• Operation of the seat heating only in heating stage 2
• Operation of the seat heating in heating stage 2 with only 50% heater output
• Seat heating off
