Air Supply: Notes
This is a BMW TwinPower Turbo engine featuring dual turbocharging. The engine features one twin-scroll exhaust turbocharger which is driven by two exhaust ports (dual turbocharging).
The 4-cylinder engines and 6-cylinder engines features a cast manifold made of steel with integrated turbine housing.
The 3-cylinder engines feature a water-cooled cast manifold made of aluminium with integrated turbine housing.
NOTE:
There are different air intake system designs. Depending on the motorization, the corresponding sensors must follow certain designations so that they match up with the fault memory entries. The measuring procedure of the sensors also determines the designation.
