Additional Brake Light: Notes

The additional brake light is equipped with LED technology. Depending upon the model series an interference suppression filter may be installed in the line leading to the additional brake light (CHMSL center high mount stop lamp). The interference suppression filter suppresses interference pulses that arise during activation of the additional brake light. The interference suppression filter suppresses interference from the rear window aerials in the additional brake light wires.
