Failure of the component

The following symptoms can be expected in the event of a failure in the central locking system's fuel filler flap actuator:

• Fault code entry in Body Domain Controller (BDC)
• Failure while the fuel filler flap is unlocked:

  It is no longer possible to lock the fuel filler flap.

• Failure while the fuel filler flap is locked:

  Under these conditions the emergency release represents the only available means for unlocking the fuel filler flap.
