Charge Air Temperature Charging Pressure Sensor: Notes

This combined sensor delivers the following information to the engine control system:

• Temperature of the charge air
• Charging pressure

The purpose of the charging pressure sensor is charging pressure control. The engine control unit also uses the signal of the charging pressure sensor to calibrate the position of the throttle valve.
