Characteristic curve and setpoint values
The charging pressure information is sent to the engine control across a signal line. The signal for evaluation of the charging pressure fluctuates depending on the pressure. The measuring range of approx. 0.1 to -4.9 volts corresponds to a charging pressure of 50 kPa (0.5 bar) to 400 kPa (4.0 bar).

The resistance of the intake air temperature sensor changes depending on the temperature, from 167 kΩ to 150 Ω. This corresponds to a temperature of -40°C to 130°C.
Observe the following setpoint values for the charge air temperature charging pressure sensor:
| Variable | Value |
|---|---|
| Voltage range for charge-air pressure sensor | 0.1 to 0.9 volts |
| Measuring range for charge-air pressure | 0.5 to 4.0 bar |
| Charge-air temperature sensor resolution | ±1 °C |
| Maximum output current | 10 mA |
| Temperature range | -40 °C to 130 °C |
