- All vehicles: The other side hears continuous disruptive noises during a call. For example, crackling or snapping noises. These interference noises cannot be heard in the vehicle. The problem occurs during standstill and when driving. It is not dependent on whether the mobile phone is in a snap-in adapter or not.
Action: Instruct the DIS to carry out a customer-initiated software update (KISA). To do so, install version {UDP01006} or higher.
- Vehicles F20 and F30 with a production date of 10/2011 to 12/2011: Poor voice quality at higher speeds.
- Vehicles with SA752 (IndividualAudio) and E7x with SA677: It becomes harder to understand the other party, particularly at driving speeds from 100 kilometres per hour. In this case, program vehicles with ISTA/P 2.39.0 or more recent versions.NOTE: If a claim under warranty is made, the complaint must include a defect code from the audio amplifier. There is no fault in the telephone system!
- F01, F02: If the seat position of the driver is set very far forward (small body size of driver), the remove the microphone and turn through 180° (direction of installation opposing the direction of travel) to reinstall.
- The volume of the ringing tone in the vehicle is sporadically very loud. In this case, check the Personal Profile settings (note: check volume of ringing tone with all vehicle keys).
