A function check of the brake pedal travel sensor using the diagnosis system is not possible.

The current measured value and the current neutral position of the brake pedal can be read out by diagnosis.

A service function is available for initialising the brake pedal travel sensor. The brake pedal travel sensor has to be initialized after the following repair work:

• Replacement of the brake pedal travel sensor
• Replacement of the DSC control unit or DSC unit
• Program the DSC control unit
