Power interruption or reset while boot lid/tailgate is opened

The automatic luggage compartment lid actuation (HKL) control unit can lose the open tailgate's current position in response to a power interruption (for instance, when power to Terminal 30B is deactivated following the shutdown period) or a reset. Under these conditions the tailgate will initially only be able to move in the "close" direction. This prevents the unit from travelling beyond the MAX position while opening.

Procedure:

1. With the first request from the operating point, the tailgate closes.
2. If a new command is entered at the operating point (user control) while closing is in progress, the tailgate will stop moving.
3. If a further request is received, the tailgate opens as far as its initial position.

This function remains active until the automatic luggage compartment lid actuation's control unit recognises that the tailgate has reached its lowermost position based on a change in the status of the tailgate contact.
