Hi-fi amplifier

Until 09/2010, a hi-fi amplifier with bus connection will be installed. This hi-fi amplifier (AMPH) is a control unit.

Beginning on 09/2010, a hi-fi amplifier without bus connection will be installed in all series. This hi-fi amplifier is not a control unit.

The audio amplifier (hi-fi amplifier with bus connection (AMPH) and/or hi-fi amplifier without bus connection) is an amplifier with digital equalizing. The audio signals are transferred from the headunit to the audio amplifier in analogue form. The internal digital equalising adjusts the audio signals to the particular vehicle by means of coding. The audio amplifier is an amplifier with active frequency diplexers. Active frequency diplexers achieve better acoustic results than passive frequency diplexers. The modified and amplified audio signals are transmitted to the relevant speakers.
