Failure of the component

If the charge air temperature sensor fails, the following behavior is to be expected:

• Fault entry in the engine control unit
• Deactivation of charging pressure control
• Exhaust-gas recirculation is deactivated
• Limitation to fuel injection rate (limitation of torque)
