Replacing the boost pressure sensor (on the intake system) (Cooper)

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with NOTES on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection)!

Removal:

Unlock connector (1) and detach.

Unclip boost pressure sensor (2) and remove.

Preparation for installation:

Check sealing ring of boost pressure sensor and replace in event of damage or loss.

Part: Sealing ring

Prior to installation, apply a thin coat of anti-friction agent to sealing ring of charge-tire pressure sensor.

Installation:

Install boost pressure sensor (2).

Attach connector (1).

Connector (1) must engage audibly.
