Low pressure fuel system: Notes
The electric fuel pump and its delivery unit are located on the right side of the fuel tank. A fuel-level sensor is also mounted on the electric fuel pump.
NOTE:
Number of fuel-level sensors!
Depending upon engine version, a fuel-level sensor may also be installed on the left side of the tank. Consult the diagnosis wiring diagrams!
An electrical connection links the fuel-level sensor to the JBE Junction Box - Electronics. From there the signal is relayed to the instrument cluster on the K-CAN.
