Power window regulator: Notes
The front power window drives are activated by the footwell module (FRM), and the rear power window drives are activated by the junction box electronics (JBE). The Car Access System (CAS) performs the central control function.
NOTE:
For R57, R58 and R59, the power window regulator on the passenger's side does not have an anti-trap mechanism and therefore does not have a toll function. This means that there is also no convenient closing function of the power window regulator on the passenger's side.
On the R57, complete convenient closing including soft top can be performed only by means of the key in the door lock. The window on the passenger's side will remain down in the case of operation with ID transmitter.
