Junction Box Electronics (JBE)

Applicable to MINI, R60 up to 10/2012 

The JBE receives all the signals through the body controller area network. The JBE provides the supply voltage for the power window regulators. The JBE also electrically activates the rear power windows.

Applicable to R60 and R61 from 11/2012 

The power window switches and the rear power window motors are connected to the JBE and are supplied with voltage by the latter (R60 only). The front power window regulators are supplied by the FRM. The door switch block is connected to the FRM via a LIN bus (R60 and R61).
