13 62 585 Replacing exhaust backpressure sensor (N57 D30 O 1)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out the fault memory of the DDE control unit.
- Switch off ignition.
- Remove INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
WARNING:

Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.
Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.
Unlock connector (1) from exhaust backpressure sensor (2) and remove.
Press in latch mechanism (1) and remove exhaust backpressure sensor (2) to the front from the bracket.
Disconnect pressure hose. Renew pressure hose.
Remove exhaust backpressure sensor (2).
Installation note:
Check stored error/fault messages.
Clear diagnostic fault entries from fault memory.
