25 11 245 Replacing shift arm support bearing

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Necessary preliminary work (E60/E61/E63/E64 N62/N62TU/M57T2 only): 

Lever out support bearing (1) from bracket.

Pull support off shift arm.

Installation: 

Insert support bearing (1) with arrow (2) pointing up into retainer.

Detach support bearing (1) from shift arm.

Installation: 

Grease bearing pin of shift arm.

Grease, refer to  AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - OPERATING FLUIDS  . 

Attach support bearing (1) with opening (3) facing rear to shift arm.
