84 11 550 Removing and installing/replacing hands-free microphone

Special Tools Required:

64 1 020

Model Without Slide/Tilt Sunroof:

Lever out microphone trim (1) with special tool 64 1 020 in direction of arrow and remove.

Disconnect plug connection underneath.

Replacement:

Unclip hands-free microphone (1) and remove from microphone trim (2).

Installation:

Arrow (3) of hands-free microphone (1) and arrow (4) of microphone trim (2) point in driving direction.

Version With Slide/Tilt Sunroof:

Lever out microphone trim (1) with special tool 64 1 020 in direction of arrow and remove.

Disconnect plug connection underneath.

Replacement:

Unlock detent lug (1) and feed out hands-free microphone (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Arrow on hands-free microphone (2) points in driving direction.
