Preparatory measures to be taken by the customer for using MINI Connected
The customer must download the relevant application from the terminal device manufacturer's portal and install it on his terminal device. When the application is started for the first time, additional software such as voice data is downloaded from the Internet (approx. 200 MB). Here, the customer is requested to register for MINI Connected. This procedure is only required once. Update for the application may be available, and these are displayed to the customer on his terminal device. The latest version of the application must always be used.
An example of the display that appears when an update for an application is available can be seen in the graphic. The number of available updates for all applications installed on the terminal device is displayed in the red spot.
