MINI joystick

The MINI joystick is the central operating element for all menus on the Central Information Display. The MINI joystick is in the center console behind the gearshift lever and the selector lever (with automatic gearbox). There are two buttons in front of the MINI joystick:

• "Home" button

  Calling up the main menu

• "Browse" button

  Browses through the last 3 menus opened

The MINI joystick is connected via the K-CAN with the headunit. The signal for the locator lighting (terminal 58g e.g. for the buttons) is transferred on the bus.
