USB audio interface

The AUX-IN connection can be used to connect an external audio source (e. g. MP3 or CD player) via a 3.5 mm jack plug. The unit is operated on the operating elements of the external audio source.

All vehicles with a Combox are equipped with a USB and AUX-IN connection. External audio sources with USB port are integrated in the vehicle's entertainment system via this USB audio interface (switched). The operation of external audio sources via the USB port take place with the help of the controller on the central information display.

With the optional equipment SA6NF a second USB and AUX-IN connection is available via the base plate in conjunction with a suitable snap-in adapter.

A connection for smartphones is offered for connection of the MP3 player in the mobile phone (SA6NF extended connectivity of the music player in the mobile phone). With the connection, it is possible to transfer the music files, that are located on the smartphone, to the vehicle entertainment system via the Bluetooth connection.
