Test module evaluation

Test module is completed without a part exchange 

1. Misfiring due to lack of fuel
2. Secondary faults: Misfire could be rectified via elimination of another fault.
3. No cause was found. The only measure implemented was that the fault memory was deleted, according to the instructions in the test module

Non-electrical causes concerning the engine 

• 5 Engine mechanically defective
• 6 Exhaust system mechanically faulty
• 7 Fuel system mechanically faulty
• 8 Poor compression
• 9 Extraneous air
• 10 Variable intake system mechanically faulty

Ignition coil 

• 11 Ignition coil with visible damage
• 12 Ignition coil with non-visible damage, the cause could be determined by swapping the spark plug
• 13 Ignition coil replaced according to the instructions in the test module

Spark plug 

• 14 Spark plug with visible damage
• 15 Spark plug with no visible damage, the cause could be determined by swapping or replacing the spark plug

Fuel injector/injector 

• 16 Fuel injector/injector with visible damage
• 17 Fuel injector/injector has non-visible damage, the cause could be determined by swapping or replacing
