61 31 348 Replacing microswitch for unlocking rear lid

Remove strip handle (on rear lid). Refer to 51 13 402 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HANDLE STRIP (ON TRUNK LID) .

Remove clip (1) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Make sure clip (1) is correctly seated.

Remove switch for unlocking rear lid (2) in direction of arrow from fixtures (3).

Cut wires on switch for unlocking rear lid (2) to length and strip insulation.

Crimp stop parts.
