61 35 147 Removing and installing/replacing convertible top module

Special tools required: 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Lever out cover (1) with special tool 00 9 323 and remove.

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, the rear side trim is shown removed.

Unscrew nut (1).

Feed out convertible top module (3) through created opening.

Unlock plug connections (2) and disconnect.

Remove convertible top module (3).

Replacement: 

Carry out coding/programming.

Observe following IDC specifications:
