61 71 100 Removing And Installing/Replacing Windshield Washer Pump

NOTE: Drain fluid reservoir for windshield washer system

Remove front underbody protection. See 51 47 490 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION

Detach front left wheel arch trim in front area and fold back.

Remove bottom left cover.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Detach hose (2) from windshield washer pump (3).

Pull windshield washer pump (3) up and out of fluid reservoir for windshield washer system (4).

Installation: 

Replace strainer for windshield washer pump.

If necessary, coat sealing ring of windshield washer pumps with antiseize agent.

Ensure hose is laid without kinks.
