61 31 371 Removing And Installing/Replacing Audio Unit (On Rear Center Armrest)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove rear center head restraint. Refer to 52 25 388 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR MIDDLE HEAD RESTRAINT .
Remove rear trim. Refer to 52 25 070 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING WOOD TRIM ON REAR CENTER ARMREST .
Remove control unit in rear center armrest. Refer to 61 31 156 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) CONTROL UNIT IN CENTER ARMREST AT REAR .

Installation:

Attach a cord (2) as illustrated to lead for audio unit (1) to make it easier to feed in later.

Disconnect plug connection (1) in direction of arrow.

Press catches (2) and remove audio unit (3) in direction of arrow.
