Hydraulic Unit Abs/ASC+T, DSC3 (Up To 09/98): Removal

- Turn off ignition. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
- Draw brake fluid out of expansion tank with a suction device reserved for exclusive use with brake fluid.
- Unlock central connector (1) and pull off. Unfasten nut (2) and remove ground wire. See Fig 1 .
- Unfasten brake lines. Do not mix up brake lines. Mark, if necessary, before removal.
- Unfasten screw and remove hydraulic control unit. See Fig 2 .
CAUTION:
Keep brake fluid out of cable connector.
