Hydraulic Unit Abs/ASC+T, DSC3 (Up To 09/98): Installation

- Install hydraulic control unit and fasten screw. See Figure .
- Install pipe connections. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Note position of diaphragm flow damper (1). See Fig 1 .
- The diaphragm flow damper pin must engage in the bore. See Fig 2 .
- Tighten diaphragm flow damper to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect ground wire and replace central connector.
- Refill expansion tank.
- Connect battery lead.
- Bleed brake system. See appropriate DISC article.
- Check function of hydraulic control unit with Diagnosis and Information System.
