Electronic power-up

The Vehicle Sound Generator (VSG) is connected to the voltage supply with terminal 15N and ground. The Vehicle Sound Generator (VSG) is woken via the CAN and is available immediately.

NOTE: Depending on series, the control unit can be connected to different CAN buses.
Examples:
  • I01 (Battery Electric Vehicle = BEV): Connection to K-CAN3
  • F01, F02, F10 Hybrid: Connection to K-CAN3
  • F30 Hybrid: Connection to PT-CAN
