61 35 115 Removing and installing/replacing footwell module

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE
Detach both battery cables for negative terminal in F03
Remove FOOTWELL SIDE TRIM PANEL ON A-PILLAR, LEFT

Disconnect connector connections (1) and (3).

Release nuts (2) and remove footwell module (4).

Tightening torque: see 4AZ in 61 35 CONTROL UNITS .

Replacement:

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/CODING .
