66 53 170 Removing and installing/replacing control unit for Top-/Rear-/Side-View Camera

Necessary preliminary tasks

Clamp off BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
Remove SHOULDER TRIM PANEL, LEFT .

Remove lid of left luggage compartment trim panel (1).

Remove luggage compartment flap (2).

Unscrew nuts (1).

Lever out expanding rivet (2).

Remove left floor panel support (3).

Lever out expanding rivet (1).

Carefully raise wheel arch trim panel (2) a little on left of luggage compartment.

NOTE: TRSVC control unit is located on the rear side of holder!

Release screws (1).

Remove bracket (2).

Unlock plug connections (2) and (3) and disconnect.

Unscrew nuts (1).

Remove TRSVC control unit.

Replacement:

Carry out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .
CALIBRATE REVERSING CAMERA .
