Removal (4-Cylinder)

  1. Remove engine cover. See Figure. Remove harness conduit from injector rail. Remove upper intake manifold. Remove harness cover from lower intake manifold.
  2. Mark knock sensor connectors for reassembly reference. Disconnect coolant hose to access knock sensors. Remove knock sensor(s) from engine.
