65 50 011 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Video Module For On-Board Monitor

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect negative battery cable. See 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
Remove flap in luggage compartment panel on left.

NOTE: Follow instructions for handling optical fibers. See61 00 ... NOTES ON HANDLING OPTICAL FIBERS .

Installation:

Do not mix up antenna connectors (1).

Mark antenna plugs (1) and disconnect.

Unlock plug connections (2) and disconnect.

Release screws (3).

Feed out video module for on-board monitor (4) in direction of arrow and remove.

Replacement:

Carry out coding/programming. See VEHICLE PROGRAMMING AND CODING .
