51 71 ... Removing And Installing/Replacing Assembly Compartment Partition Wall

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove left microfilter housing cover . See 64 31 101 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT MICROFILTER HOUSING COVER and 64 31 106 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT MICROFILTER HOUSING COVER .
- Remove microfilter housing (upper section) . See 64 31 081 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING MICROFILTER HOUSING .
Assembly compartment partition wall, middle:
Remove seal (1) for engine hood/bonnet.
Release screws (2, 4).
Remove partition wall (3).
Installation:
Make sure partition wall is correctly positioned.
Assembly compartment partition wall, left/right:
Release expansion rivet (1).
Release screws (2, 4).
Left only: Unclip connecting cable (3).
Remove partition wall (5).
Installation:
Replace damaged expander rivet.
Make sure partition wall is correctly positioned.
Make sure screws are installed in correct positions.
