61 31 220 Removing and installing/replacing multifunction steering wheel switch

Necessary preliminary tasks:

If necessary, remove the SHIFT PADDLES

NOTE: Illustration shows steering wheel removed.
The two multifunction steering wheel switches can be removed separately.

Release screws (1).

Remove switch (1) in direction of arrow.

NOTE: Illustrations depict removal of the right multifunction steering wheel switch. The left multifunction steering wheel switch is removed in the same way.
Disconnect plug connections (1) and remove multifunction steering wheel switch.
